Copenhagen fashion week is the fashion event of the year for me. The city is beautiful and the energy there is refreshing. As the kick off fashion month, the Scandi-chic runways and street styles set the tone for the rest of the season.
Lets look at my highlights from CPHFW S/S 25
Runway
I had the opportunity to walk in the Mark Kenly Domino Tan show. The collection was feminine and structured. The neutral colour palette was just up my alley. The use of straws for the accessories made it very relatable and a clear nod to the theme of sustainable fashion. It is clear why Mark Tan was a recipient of the prestigious the Danish design awards. The design detail and craftmanship are impeccable.
Here are my top picks from the Mark Tan spring summer 2025 collection:
Stand out Collections
All-in-all the shows did not diappoint. There are a few designers that I am always excited to see in Copenhagen. Not only the pieces eye catching, but the locations and music chosen are visually stimulating. These elements add to the storytelling and breathes life into the collection.
Baum und Pferdgarten is a must see! The location chosen for the spring summer 2025 collection was perfect as we were in the middle of the Paris Olympic games. The ‘office olympics collection’ had that cool and sporty energy.
Another show I had the priviledge of attending and perhaps my favoutrie show this season was Munthe. The collection is a fashion girl's dream. The sihlouettes, the textures, the location, all the elements just worked. Investing in just a few timeless pieces will keep you looking stylish all season for years to come. Here are a few of my favourite pieces:
What is fashion week without street style? Outside of the show venues is where we witness fashionistas bring their personal style to the city. The off duty models, fashion insiders, influencers and fashion lovers bring their A game and it is always fun and inspiring to witness.
Looking forward to the next season.
